Is P2P really free forever?
Yes. Transferring money between Soxara wallets — by phone number — is free for personal accounts, indefinitely. No hidden spread, no network fee.
What is the FX rate?
A blended market rate plus a disclosed spread — 1.5% converting USD to LRD, 6.5% converting LRD to USD (USD is the harder side to source in Liberia, so that direction carries more). The rate you see before you confirm is the rate you get — no second markup after.
Are there fees for cash-in or cash-out?
Cash-in (MTN deposit, and Orange once it launches) is free. Cash-out is 2% — the Central Bank of Liberia's standard withdrawal rate, not a Soxara markup, and the same regardless of which rail you exit through.
What counts as a merchant transaction?
Any payment accepted via checkout link, QR code, or the business API. P2P sends from a business wallet to a personal wallet are free.
Is there a setup fee?
No. No setup, no monthly, no contract minimum.
